Rachael, is a silver jewellery artist living in the beautiful Holme Valley with her family and little dog, Pippi. Her journey with silver clay began some 16 years ago after attending a metal clay jewellery-making course, where she fell in love with the possibilities this magical material offers. What started as a hobby making fingerprint and personalized keepsakes for family and friends has grown into a passion for creating simple, classic pieces with meaning.
Working mainly with silver clay, Rachael love using patterns, textures, and nature’s details to craft timeless designs. She often enhances her work with patinas or enamel to bring out the unique textures and stories in each piece. Inspiration comes from the natural world and the changing seasons—whether it’s the delicate lines of a leaf or the rhythm of the moon. Many of Rachael’s ideas come to life while out walking with Pippi, exploring the beautiful landscapes of the Holme Valley.
As well as creating jewellery, Rachael runs hands-on workshops at Eco-Hub in Emley, where you can discover the magic of metal clay for yourself. In these friendly, relaxed sessions, she will guide you through the process of designing and making your own silver pieces—from start to finish—which you’ll take home at the end of the day.
Whether you’re looking for an everyday favourite, a lunar-inspired treasure, or a bespoke keepsake, Rachael hopes her jewellery helps you feel a little closer to nature—even on the days you can’t be out there yourself.
