Our 100th Anniversary Party in the Park on Saturday 5 September will have it all - great musicians, an excellent bar, fish and chips, pizza and ice cream with free face-painting, giant bubbles and games for the kids. Music starts at 2pm through til 8ish - free entry. Bring your own chairs / rugs. Looking forward to One Jovi headlining.

Help us celebrate our 100th Anniversary with our free Party in the Park on Saturday 5 September. Come and bring your own chairs / rugs / picnics and enjoy live music on the big stage from 2pm to 8pm. Help - we really need new volunteers for our Luncheon Club in the Village Hall. After up to 40 years our Secretary, Chair and Treasurer are retiring. This would just be for a few hours on Tuesday mornings - if you could help in any way, preparing and serving food - full training and support would be given. Whether you're joining us for the walk, bringing the children to enjoy the Family Fun Day, or simply popping down for a burger and a drink, every single person who comes along helps support our club and its future.

Our Luncheon Club every Tuesday lunchtimes has provided nourishing meals and social activities for those over 65 and living alone. This is such an important service to the community and recently won an award for its hard work. Many of the volunteers who run the club have served for up to 40 years, but they themselves are now elderly and retiring. We desperately need new volunteers, both for helping prepare and serve meals but the club also needs a new Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary. Full support and training will be offered - if you might be interested phone Marjorie Denton on 07799246992.
