What a fantastic week it’s been!
Our own Simon Quarmby had the pleasure of attending both the opening night and the first visiting act at The Last Drop, and what an incredible experience it was.

A huge congratulations to Steve and the entire team. You should all take a well-deserved bow for what you’ve created. From the brand-new Bose PA system and large AV screens to the superb lighting throughout, no expense has been spared. The result is a first-class venue that gives artists travelling over from the UK every opportunity to perform at their very best and showcase their undoubted talent.
Having visited regularly for the past 26 years, Simon has seen every stage of the venue’s evolution, including its previous downstairs incarnation, through to what it is today. Quite simply, it’s never looked better.

A special thank you to Paul Pashley Singer, Kelsey and -diva Coleman for delivering two stunning and hugely entertaining performances as Swings a 21st Century Thing & ABBA Vinyl. We were incredibly proud to be there, not only as their representatives but also as members of the audience, enjoying every minute.

If this week is anything to go by, it’s shaping up to be an exciting summer ahead for all SQP Live artists visiting The Last Drop throughout 2026.

2025 was a year of progression, variety, and extra effort.
Across the calendar year there were many highlights, including:
• SQP client Dean Andrews selling out four shows over a single weekend. What began as a one-off screening with a Q&A quickly expanded into a multi-show run, driven by strong public interest and revealing the potential for a new standalone project.
• SQP client Crissy Rock stepping into theatre with her sell-out one-woman show. The production charts her life and upbringing, and her journey into comedy, television, and film. It is a deeply personal, thought-provoking, and at times heartbreaking story that resonated strongly with audiences.
• International music icon Bonnie Tyler delivering an 80-minute live band performance at a long-established festival in Holland. This event was fitted into an already packed summer schedule and required comprehensive logistical planning, from travel and accommodation to bespoke technical stage requirements. The result was a standout performance, an enthusiastic and devoted audience, and a very happy client.

2026 has already begun on the front foot, made possible through strong partnerships and meaningful collaboration. This momentum is set to deliver many more highlights to reflect on in the year-end review.

Are we at full capacity? Certainly not. However, the projects currently on the table provide a clear plan, renewed motivation, and a strong foundation to continue this upward progression.
