We then screened the short ‘dream to screen’ Ghost Hunters film! Funded by universal youth work and superpowers by Wentworth preservation trust/

Saturday extended workshop day with staff from Breakout Arts working with young people ages 7 up to 18 to explore and find out from them what their every day super powers are.
What things stress them and what about their own skills and approaches to life gets them through.
They mentioned their listening skills, their ability to make friends laugh, their interests, their creativity, music, sports, kindness and much more.
We’ve all got something that gets us through, no matter who we are-
Sometimes it’s good to remind each other and ourselves.
We’ve been busy filming, writing short script ideas, creating songs and putting together a short show that reflects their ideas. We all had food together too! Friendships have been developed and confidence boosted! A lovely mix of youngsters enjoying themselves and sharing. Next long session is Weds of half term where our two groups come together with any Newbies. We have groups funded by Universal Youth work and this project funded by Ccoc /arts
Council and Wentworth Preservation trust.

Worked with our Dream to Screem group
This afternoon and evening on the ‘superpowers’ Project funded by arts
Council/ Wentworth preservation trust and Children’s capital of culture.
Young people told us their stresses, their superpowers and how they overcome obstacles and helped create script and song lyrics! Next we’ll be doing it with our youth theatre and eventually bringing them together to create
A short performance. We introduced the youngsters to some older actors who then worked with them to create ideas and we filmed them
Doing scenes.
Onward!
