Well it is official! GillyKing - Storytelling will be part of this year's The Scarborough Fair and we are so excited! June 13 we will be at Scarborough Library 10.30am and then Sunday June 14 at 10.30 we will be in Sha-Ka Coffee House! Hope to see you there for stories and craft activities.

Fabulous morning spent with Year 3 at St Martin's Primary School, Scarborough recreating the Easter story and projecting it using magic lanterns. Some amazing storytelling and the artwork was gorgeous! Thank you so much for having us in!

Very excited to be part of Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club's centenary birthday this year! Looks like it will be an amazing event on August 30th, so plan a space in your diary because we all know it will zip round as fast as Ellie Kildunne scoring a try!

As we come to the end of the year GillyKing just wants to say thank you to everyone who has been with us on the journey in 2025. Westarted with an idea in January, and now we have performed and delivered multiple workshops and Enchanted Story Trails across schools, bookshops, libraries, and Spa in both England and Scotland. We have worked with amazing people; been part of art and literature festivals; charity events; and developed a World War 1 workshop based on the letters of a local young man that means his name is not forgotten or lost.
We cannot wait to develop GillyKing more in 2026, and really hope to be doing even more things.
Thank you for all your support, have a wonderful festive period, and we look forward to seeing you next year.

What an amazing day at St Martin's Primary School, Scarborough . We plotted where the shells hit, and the children wrote poetry, created comic strips, collages, zines and news reports using primary resources. Absolutely fabulous.

Two amazing days in Montrose Academy working with some really talented young people. They created haikus, Neanderthal poetry, paint chip poetry, erasure poetry and then moved towards their own writing. Absolutely fabulous, it was such a privilege to be there. Thanks so much KA Alison for giving us the opportunity, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
