Trudgepig Folk Theatre will be bringing some mumming chaos to Whitstable this coming weekend. Join us for an afternoon performance of The Wickerwork Man in the pub garden of The Coach and Horses: free entry, with donations to fund Whitstable's unique Blessings of the Beasts. Come for a drink or two before our 4pm show.

We're delighted to be hosting Revels on the Green in Sandwich, Kent on Saturday 25 July.

Join us for a FREE day of folkish celebrations on the historic quayside:

10.00 Pop-up folklore exhibition opens and runs all day until 17.00(ish).
11.00 - Join Sonia Overall for a free taster, exploring seasonal folklore on foot around the quayside
12.00 - Theatre of the Small James Edward Frost invite you to try your hand at traditional percussive puppetry in their have-a-go jig doll session.
13.00 - Our first dance spot of the day from the fabulous Viking Bay Morris Viking Bay Morris
14.00 - Trudgepig Folk Theatre Trudgepig Folk Theatre perform their archery-apt mumming play 'The Outlaw Robin Hood'

We're teaming up with the excellent Sandwich Medieval Centre, who'll be hosting Archery on the Green over the weekend, with reenactor contests, have-a-go archery and historic crafts, and most importantly, their epic and much-loved MEAD bar. Oh yes.
