Ballaré School of Performing Arts Dance classes for children in Saltash. Established since 2009, Ballare offers dance classes in all subjects and follows the ISTD examination syllabus.

We pride ourselves on being welcoming, kind & nurturing while providing high standard dance tuition. We provide an exeptional level of dance training where each individuals needs are catered to and pupils are given the opportunity to become the best dancers they possibly can, either for their own fulfillment or to lead to vocational training.

Huge congratulations to all our sensational pupils who just shone today in ‘Heart & Soul’

We came into today full of determination to nail those quick changes, and with a lot of wonderful parent and ex-student support we did it!

Aside from the incredible performances that the children gave, what makes me the happiest is how they make friends and support each other - just priceless!

It was so lovely that 3 of our ex students (who are now 21- 24 🥹) volunteered to come and spend the whole weekend helping us put the show on. Their own experience of doing shows and years of dancing was invaluable, and it was so heart warming they wanted to give up their time. Thank you ladies so much 🙏

And a sad goodbye to our wonderful Senior students Amelia, Jemima and Amelie. Jemima and Amelie are off to university, and Amelia is going to full time dance college. (Megan is staying but losing her gang so we honour her too!) 💞

In all, teaching all these wonderful children is what makes my world go round…so thank you
to you all for bringing them and helping us put on this incredible show 🙌🏻❤️

So this is it…. Rehearsals over and it is ‘Theatre Eve’…. In we go tomorrow to rehearse our show that has been 4 months in the making and then perform it to you all on Sunday! I’m nervous and excited…. And have so many memories of this feeling from when I was a young dancer. Break a leg everyone ❤️

Today I visited The Quad Theatre to meet with the technical team, and go over what we need for our show with lighting, sound and stage set up.

Congratulations to all our students
who did brilliantly at their first full day rehearsal of our forthcoming show, ‘Heart & Soul’.

The first run through is always very revealing as to how much more work needs doing, and it’s usually A LOT!!

The most beautiful thing was seeing the children’s pure joy at watching the other classes dances, and their support of each other was incredible.

Well done to all our students, and thank you to the seniors for looking after the younger ones so well and also to Caitlin for being amazing.

Let’s do it all again next week!! ❤️
