The CDA Award nominations are out!

This is in recognition of our 2026 production of 'Aladdin'

We are absolutely over the moon to once again be in the running for so many awards, and are so grateful. Nominations alone are incredibly hard to get, so this list is testament enough to our amazing team both on and off the stage.

The awards night is on Saturday 17th October, where we'll see if we bring away anything shiny!

Even in pantomime down time, our team still manage to find themselves busy and thriving!

This week six of our fabulous youngsters, and Phil our set painter and this year's Dame (who still behaves like one of our fabulous youngsters 🤦🏼‍♀️) have taken part in Stages Theatre Arts musical in a week - putting together 'Frozen' in just a few days!

Our super six all strutted their stuff on the first day, to find themselves all given main, scripted roles - how fantastic is that? Phil has been helping all the participants learn the art of set design and generally enjoying the organised chaos this challenge brings!

Fancy treading the boards but not taking on a part?

We are on the lookout for new joiners for our adult chorus. This involves singing, a little bit of dancing, dressing the stage during crowd scenes, wearing questionable costumes that our Producer gives you with a knowing smile, and above all having an awful lot of fun.

If you like getting to know new people, and don't mind making a bit of a fool of yourself, then this is for you!

Last night we attended the annual Clay Village Pantomime Awards. This is a voluntary run celebration of the work of eight different pantomime groups within the Clay area.

We joined Roche, Indian Queens, Bugle, St Enoder, St Stephen, St Dennis, and Trewoon Village Players to applaud the hard work and dedication we all put in over the months running up to a successful season, and the shows we all produced.

We're over the moon to share the results of 'Aladdin' with you all, especially our placing of 2nd 'Best Overall Pantomime'!
