Express yourself with all sorts of mark-making tools and stencils at this new creative workshop combining gel plate printing and ceramics.

See this as your chance to come and play with underglaze, nature-inspired stencils, mark-making tools and pre-made, bisque-fired ceramic pieces that are ready for you to decorate in however you fancy!

You’ll come away with a new skill as well as up to five printed gifts cards, postcards and ceramic homeware pieces (the cost of firing is also included in the price). Sara from and Shelley from can’t wait to see what you create!

And we’re live! Two sessions of this brand-new, collaborative workshop have just been posted on the Ways of Seeing website.
This creative workshop provides an opportunity to come and play with underglaze, nature-inspired stencils, mark-making tools and pre-made, bisque-fired ceramic pieces that are ready for you to decorate (the cost of firing is also included in the price).

JUST 1 PLACE LEFT FOR THIS WORKSHOP!

Come and create a variety of gel plate prints using Rye Castle Museum's wonderful pottery collection as your inspiration. Museum staff will be treating us to a behind-the-scenes tour where we can get close to the collection and really get inspired!

You’ll aim to create up to four stencils to use on the gel plate during the printing part of this workshop. It’ll be up to you to decide on whether to stick to traditional colours and outlines or go a bit wild in your interpretation - there will be no rules!

Today marks two whole years of Ways of Seeing!

THANK YOU to all of you who have attended workshops, told your friends & family lovely things about your Ways of Seeing experiences, hired me for special events, liked & shared the online posts, got involved online with the challenges, signed up to the mailing list, collaborated with me on wonderful projects and recommended Ways of Seeing for exciting creative endeavours. Please keep doing all of these brilliant things to help Ways of Seeing keep growing!

I'm very excited for this collaboration with Rye Castle Museum! The plan is to create a variety of gel plate prints using the museum’s wonderful pottery collection as your inspiration.
