***WE ARE BACK AND IN A NEW SPACE!***

Welcome to Rye! This is the first glimpse at our new therapy space right on Mermaid Street in Rye Youth Zone

We have been very busy over the holiday getting our space organised and ready and we’ve seen our first clients back this week.

We are still fundraising to cover our costs (click the link in bio to see more) but we’re feeling very excited about building a new “home” here.

I (Harriet) personally, would like to never have to move again! 😂🤭 and am feeling very happy to be settling in.

***IT'S TIME FOR US TO TAKE A BREAK...***

Looking back over the first seven months of this year, so much has happened and is changing. I'm so proud of the team we have and continue to grow.

September brings some exciting change for us as we begin in our new space at Rye and we have some changes happening with the team.

We look forward to seeing what the second half of 2026 brings, but for now we're very happy to be taking a little break.

We look forward to seeing our clients again from September 1st. Please do check with your own therapist, however, as we all take slightly different breaks.

We are moving into a new therapy space for September right in the middle of Rye. We are so excited to share more with you as we can but first we are having to get the room ready.

🚪We need to box the room in and put a door on, making it soundproof;
🖌️We need to give it a fresh coat of paint and
🚦Install some more therapeutic lighting.

In all of our current exciting changes, we are also looking for a new Art Psychotherapist to support us at Ashford primarily. This will be freelance work booked on a client by client basis.

If you know someone who might be interested and could commute to Ashford, please pass on our post! We are very keen to hear from Art Therapists, both newly qualified and with experience.

***WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY FOR SOME CLAY CREATIONS 🙌🏻✨🦋🌱***

Here is a little of what we got up to yesterday at our Home Ed workshop. Firstly nature as inspiration, a chance to explore senses and smells and then back inside to create. We loved how different everyone’s pieces were!

Here is some of what the parents told us in our feedback about what they enjoyed:
“Creative fun with beautiful smells. It was a lovely calm activity.”

And:

The “combination of fragrance of the flowers and the clay which I have not experienced before. Fab!”

Yesterday, I returned to Sandwich Tech School to deliver an interactive talk to their school leavers. This was to prepare them as they head off into the big wide world after school, a huge transition!

I can’t quite believe this is my 7th year of delivering this talk. It’s a great privilege for me to speak to young people as such a critical stage 🌱

So if you, your team, your school are looking for something in particular in terms of training or speaking do get in touch. This was a bespoke talk which I created for STS and it’s something I really enjoy doing alongside therapy.
