🏺 A little note about your pottery pieces 🔥

We always do our best to ensure your bisque pieces make it safely through the firing process, but pottery can sometimes be unpredictable!

Occasionally, pieces may crack, break or develop crazing (fine hairline cracks in the glaze), either during firing or even weeks later. This can happen due to the nature of the bisque, the glaze, or how the materials react to the heat and cooling process.

Unfortunately, these things can happen even when every care is taken, and we cannot guarantee that every piece will turn out perfectly.

✨ As many of you may have heard, it is time for us (Jane and Louise) to say goodbye and hand over the reins of The View to someone else. It is not a decision we have made lightly; we are so proud of what we have built at The View and are so thankful for our wonderful, loyal customers and staff who have helped us build this venture over the last two and a half years. ✨

✨ We absolutely could not have done this without the help of our friends, families, workers and all the other businesses at Fakenham Farm; Pete at Fort View Tyres; Katie at Goose Island Studio; Michelle at Botany Bay Nursery; Lindsey and Dan at Easel Peasels - IOW’s destination for creative kids- Art & Slime and of course, Julie and Clive Fakenham Farm Campsite. Thank you everyone for your help and assistance (including the many tyre replacements!). ✨

✨ It is not the end of The View however, in fact it is on to bigger and better things in the hands of the amazing Jodie and Russell, so keep your eyes peeled for what is to come! It promises to be exciting! ✨
