We're looking forward to performing Dvorak's Cello Concerto in B minor with the fabulous cellist Huw Gibson.
This was the last of the seven works Dvorak composed during his three-year stay in America from 1892 to 1895, during which time he held the office of Director of the National Conservatory of Music in New York.
Concert on 21st June, 7.30pm at Rugby High School, Longrood Road. Adults £10, Children £2 at the door (cash only)
Large car park and interval refreshments available.

Edward Elgar is probably best remembered for the Enigma Variations. Rugby Rococo Players are performing his Froissart Overture, a small tone poem, and Elgar’s first major work. It was composed, published and first performed in 1890.
