Making a custom ThisBrand 3D printer upgraded enclosure!
Been working on this for a little while but it has a custom hot end that takes bambu lab nozzles not flashforge which are exponentially cheaper to replace at like a Β£1 each in comparison to Β£33 each.
It has a custom ThisBrand screen cover with lid.
White face plates that are form fitted to the Flashforge Adventurer 5M front pillars.
I created a custom holder for a Logitech 1080p we**am to monitor prints and record time lapse videos.
Relocated the spool to the right of the machine instead of the rear.
This is important as next I am going to fit a drive chain conversion that keeps the cables and Boolean tube on a horizontal plane stopping them getting pinched if they droop into the top of the machine.
It also has a cool feature where in a pinch the drive chain will disconnect at the rear of the print head to stop it jamming or snapping giving it full flexibility.
Then to top it off it has RGB LED lights fitted so unlink the 5M Pro you can actually have various colours not just white light.
Next I will fit a full plexy glass enclosure and it's done but had a full geek out with this 3D printer for ThisBrand π€π
