Meet Simon Quarmby — the man behind SQP Live.

20 years ago, Simon started a project with a simple ambition: to build an entertainment business that could bring great people, great talent and great events together.

What began as an idea has grown into 20 years of live entertainment, artist management, events, partnerships, challenges, successes and plenty of memories along the way.

From the early days to where SQP Live is today, the journey has never stood still. The industry has changed, the business has evolved and so has the vision.

But one thing has remained constant — a passion for entertainment and a commitment to making things happen.

As SQP Live celebrates its 20th anniversary, we thought it was time to introduce the person behind the name and take you on a journey through the story so far.

This is Simon. This is SQP Live. And this is just the beginning of the next chapter.

Follow along as we look back at where it all started, share some of the stories behind the business, and reveal what’s coming next. 🎤🎶

It’s been a while… but we’re finally giving the SQP Live website a bit of a revamp!

Well, after all, it has been a while since there’s actually been much of a web presence! 😂

Happy to say that we now have a Home page — so that’s a start! 👏
www.sqplive.co.uk

Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll start populating the site with more information about what we do, who we work with, the artists we represent, our events and everything else that makes SQP Live what it is.

It won’t be rushed… (code for: we’ve just got to find the time to get everything collated!) 😂

But rather than throwing everything together for the sake of it, the website will grow organically, with the right information, images and content added as we go.

Small steps… but it’s good to be back online.

We here at SQP Live Ltd can’t wait to see our client, the brilliant Crissy Rock, starring in T**s Up, touring the UK this October.
It’s a heartwarming, funny and at times incredibly moving production, with plenty of laughs, plenty of tears and a really important message at the heart of it all.
If you get the chance to see it, make sure you do.

What a fantastic week it’s been!
Our own Simon Quarmby had the pleasure of attending both the opening night and the first visiting act at The Last Drop, and what an incredible experience it was.

A huge congratulations to Steve and the entire team. You should all take a well-deserved bow for what you’ve created. From the brand-new Bose PA system and large AV screens to the superb lighting throughout, no expense has been spared. The result is a first-class venue that gives artists travelling over from the UK every opportunity to perform at their very best and showcase their undoubted talent.
Having visited regularly for the past 26 years, Simon has seen every stage of the venue’s evolution, including its previous downstairs incarnation, through to what it is today. Quite simply, it’s never looked better.

Massive congratulations from all of us at !

A special thank you to Paul Pashley Singer, Kelsey and -diva Coleman for delivering two stunning and hugely entertaining performances as Swings a 21st Century Thing & ABBA Vinyl. We were incredibly proud to be there, not only as their representatives but also as members of the audience, enjoying every minute.

If this week is anything to go by, it’s shaping up to be an exciting summer ahead for all SQP Live artists visiting The Last Drop throughout 2026.

Here’s to many more great nights to come!
