🌈 Let’s talk SEN parties! 🌈
For those of you who know me, you’ll know that SEN inclusion is something very close to my heart and my family ❤️
Before starting Fit For A Princess Parties, I worked as a support worker and completed training around autism and sensory needs, as have several members of our lovely team.
We truly believe that every child deserves a magical birthday celebration that works for THEM which is why we introduced our specially tailored SEN-friendly parties!
There’s no expectation for children to sit still, join in or participate in a particular way. Instead, we adapt the party around the children and their individual needs.
Our SEN parties can include sensory toys, bubbles, ribbon and parachute activities, reduced music volume, flexible party games with no pressure to join in and nobody getting “out”, dancing, character interaction and plenty of opportunities to take a break whenever needed. 🫧🌈
Most importantly, we want our parties to be a space where children can have fun in whatever way feels comfortable for them. There’s no “right” way to enjoy a party. 💕
If your child has particular interests, sensory preferences or anything else that would help make their experience more comfortable and magical, please tell us! We’re always happy to tailor what we do. 👑✨
