What a couple of weeks we have coming up!! Next Sunday we will be marching down the Mall and Horseguards Parade with bands from across the country. Next morning we will be boarding our flight to the USA ✈️ 🇺🇸. Representing England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 in the WAMSB 2026 competitions, multiple July 4th parades and the America 250th parade in Philadelphia it’s going to be a hot and busy one 😎☀️

A huge thankyou to everyone who has helped with fundraising for the USA trip and the schools/companies for supporting our band members and volunteer staff to attend. It is going to be an amazing trip full of memories.

When people look at a marching band they may think it’s an unusual hobby but they don’t realise how many fantastic opportunities and experiences can come from being a part of something so unique!

Nothing short of inspiring! The band were honoured to have a visit from a few musicians from the Grenadier Guards 💂. Ahead of our upcoming trip to America 🇺🇸 they helped sharpen the band with their drill and sound, the drummers were fortunate to have some sectional time and a couple of young musicians about to embark on music grades had the opportunity to play through their exam pieces and receive feedback. All concluded with a presentation on the opportunities being a British Army musician has to offer.

A fantastic opportunity for our band members to experience this evening and a sincere thank you to the musician who attended. with only 3 rehearsals left before we hit the international stage 🇺🇸 it’s full steam ahead 💪 🎶

The Band performed a fantastic evening of music at St. Luke’s Church in Cranham last Saturday.

From British Proms and American Rock to Broadway Classics, and a debut for the RDTC Big Band, they kept the audience entertained throughout the night, including a special celebration for a local resident’s 90th birthday!

A huge well done to everyone involved for all the hard work that made the concert such a success and helped raise funds for the band’s upcoming trip to Philadelphia. We couldn’t be prouder!

And a big thank you to for their generous raffle donation and continued support of the band.
