Havering Arts Council

Havering Arts Council Supporting & developing the Arts in Havering since 1965 in collaboration with LBH’s Arts Department

Set up in 1964 in partnership with the London Borough of Havering, Havering Arts Council supports the cultural life of the borough, and encourages local creatives and arts groups to grow and develop. We offer grants to our member societies to support their activities and work in collaboration with the borough's Arts Development Officer and Culture and Leisure team. For a small annual fee, creative

s and arts groups in the borough can sign up as members of HAC. In exchange Havering Arts Council offers support through the promotion of their work, sharing best practice, networking opportunities and financial assistance to help the delivery of their events in and around the borough. Set in 1619 on London’s vibrant South Bank, step back in time and witness the extraordinary effort that saved Shakespeare’s words and shaped the theatre we know today!
