MyPlaceRM3 MyPlace is a youth & community centre in Harold Hill with lots of community groups and rooms for hire. This is a facility for everyone.

This bright, modern building provides a welcoming space for the whole community, particularly young peo

ple, to take part in fun and engaging activities. Our packed programme includes youth clubs, sports, youth action, advice, music and arts. The building offers superb dance and performance space, a recording studio, games room, a café, art room, workshop and computer suite. These are all available to hire for those who would like to run their own clubs, events or activities. Built as part of the Harold Hill Ambitions Project, in partnership with Havering Council and the Big Lottery Fund, myplace officially opened its doors to the public in June 2012. Call in at any time, our friendly staff will be happy to give you a tour and provide information about our current activities.

Collaging Havering: Past, Present and Future brought creativity and reflection to Mardyke Community Centre in Rainham. ✂️✨

Led by artists from Daedalus Theatre Company, participants explored Havering’s history, community, and future through collage—sharing stories, sparking meaningful conversations, and imagining what’s to come.

Part of the East to Elsewhere project, celebrating kindness and community across London.

Due to the current hot weather and in the interests of everyone's health and wellbeing, the Parkinson's Group Table Tennis session scheduled for today will not be running.

Unfortunately, the Thursday session (tomorrow) has also been cancelled because of the continued high temperatures.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Please stay safe, keep cool, and stay hydrated during this period of hot weather.

For collections on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June, please place your bags at your boundary by 6am.

This also applies to garden waste, clinical waste and bulky waste collections.

From a thoughtful mindfulness exercise to hands-on mask decorating, participants created inspiring designs full of personality.

The session ended with pizza, chats, and a chance to celebrate everyone’s creativity together. 🍕
