Rose - a rose in full bloom. I very first flower and it took me hours! My usual stipple style on A3 Bristol board and my trusty Staedtler pens with a final layer of Berol wax pencils, hence the depth of colour on the inside of the rose petals. This is a 'radical departure' from my usual animals and birds but it has inspired me to try other flowers so I will see where this takes me - exciting times ahead!

My Peacock boy - with a hint of rainbow! I found a lovely photo of a peacock looking straight into the camera lens but I wanted to put my own 'dotty rainbow' style to him. A3 Bristol board, Staedtler and Micron pens, several glasses of w**e and a few hours to spare.

Donkey - stipple style! I found a photo of this handsome boy and finally got round to dotting him. I've tried to keep his nose soft and his ears long. Only 4 colours used - beige, brown, grey and black, a very limited palette. I love the unusual angel, giving him a curious and inquisitive look. A3 Bristol board with a few colours used and my trade mark style of stipple.

Red Fox, what a beautiful creature. I liked the 'peeping around the tree' pose, waiting to pounce or just shy...... you decide! On A3 Bristol board and my usual Staedtler pens.
