Some of our young performers have been exploring different types of performance and today we went along to Queen’s Park charity fete, exploring jugging, acro, stilts, unicycle & dance with impromptu performance. What a playful and creative afternoon we had 🌿🌞
And of course, the gorgeous costumes made by for our big show FLIGHT earlier this year were stunning 🪶🦜

This week we're excited to join Touchstones Rochdale at the Side‑by‑Side Festival here in Rochdale, with activities between 13th and 15th August.

We'll be there on the *Friday 14th August* and we'll be running *drop in circus and aerial workshops,* get your hands on circus skills, learn to juggle, catch a diabolo or even hang on a trapeze.

While you're there, don't miss *live circus and aerial performances from our youth circus performers - Spotlight, with double trapeze acts, stilt walkers, incredible jugglers and more. Performances at 12 noon & 1:30pm.*

There are limited places in the aerial workshops, places are given on first come first served basis, our circus workshops are open to all, come along and try for yourself!

📍 Where is it? Temporary Touchstones on Rochdale Town Hall Square and various locations within Rochdale Town Hall
💸 How much is it? Everything is FREE!
🎟️ Is booking required? Not for most events, but the film screenings, Story Saturdays and No Such Thing do require advance booking.

Darnhill Festival is back again! We'll be over in Heywood, if you've not been before, it's a brilliant, community event!
Free! Arts! Circus! Music! and More!
We'll be there, ready to go with lots of juggling balls, diabolos, hula hoops and more... Come along and have a go, it's for everyone!

Due to the hot, hot weather, there will no Adults Class this evening.

But, while we're sat wishing we were cooling off in a cold pool with an ice pop, we were thinking about a time many moons ago... 1994 (ish).

Skylight took our giant fish for a swim at Rochdale's Hollingworth Lake and performed 'THE BIG SPLASH!' 🐠
