Where it all started…
This was my very first LEGO set — a Secret Santa gift in December 2025.
If I’m honest… the LEGO bug didn’t bite straight away.
I didn’t enjoy following instructions just to end up with the exact same result as everyone else. And the pieces felt quite chunky — the finished roses suggested what they were meant to be, rather than really capturing the delicacy of real flowers.
But… this set still matters.
Because it was the starting point. The moment that quietly introduced me to something I’d go on to explore in my own way.
Not by following the rules — but by building differently.
