🚨 BIG NEWS FROM SHOWDUINO 🚨

For the past few months we've been working on something that completely changes the future of Showduino...

Introducing Showduino Mesh™

Imagine an entire attraction, haunt, escape room, themed environment, or interactive experience powered by multiple intelligent Showduino nodes working together as one system.

⚡ No dedicated master controller required
⚡ Automatic node discovery
⚡ Self-healing network architecture
⚡ Real-time synchronization
⚡ Distributed FastLED effect processing
⚡ Mobile-friendly web dashboard
⚡ Scalable from a handful of nodes to an entire venue

Each ESP32-C3 node can control its own lighting effects locally while remaining perfectly synchronized with the rest of the network.

If the controller node disappears? The network automatically elects a new one and keeps running.

No single point of failure.

No complex setup.

Just power on and let Showduino Mesh™ do the work.

This technology opens the door to:

🎭 Immersive attractions
👻 Haunted houses
🚂 Ride systems
🏰 Escape rooms
🎪 Live events
🎬 Film and TV sets
💡 Large-scale lighting installations

This is one of the biggest leaps forward in Showduino's development so far, and we're only getting started.

Most people only ever see the finished lights.
They never see the late nights, burnt fingers, rewrites, or whiteboard chaos behind the scenes.
Showduino is my answer to that.
It’s a modular show-control system I’m building from the ground up for real-world shows, haunts, props, lighting, sound, FX, and immersive environments.
No cloud dependency.
No locked ecosystem.
No “just good enough” shortcuts.
Built to scale.
Built to be customised.
Built to break the rules a little.
If you respect the grind, love custom tech, or build things just because you can —
👉 hit share and help this project reach the right crowd.
More to come. 🖤

We’re getting ready to launch something new and we’d love your input.

Showduino is a new modular control system designed for immersive lighting, audio, and effects for things like Halloween displays, haunted attractions, Christmas light shows, and creative DIY projects.

Before we go any further, we want to hear from the community.

We’ve put together a short questionnaire to understand what people actually want, what features matter, and how Showduino could fit into real setups.

If you’re a maker, decorator, haunt builder, or just love interactive tech, your feedback would mean a lot.

It only takes a few minutes and helps shape the future of Showduino.

Thank you to everyone who takes part — this is being built for you.

Milestone unlocked

Big upgrade today. I have officially moved Showduino to a full ESP32 architecture and removed Arduino from the build completely.

This change gives me faster performance, smarter features, cleaner communication, and a lot more room to grow. I am still developing in Arduino IDE, just with far more power under the hood.

Showduino is levelling up.
More exciting features to come!!!

Showduino Update!!

I have picked the build back up again and things are really moving forward.
Every time I sit down with it the controller, feels closer to where I want it to be ..

The progress over the last few weeks has been slow and after the incredible support from my partner, I am finally starting to see the pieces come together
It is becoming more powerful and flexible than I first imagined and I am genuinely excited about what is next

We are not at the finish line yet but it is definitely getting closer
Thanks for sticking with me on this journey
More updates soon!

An hour of tinkering with my existing logic and this happened 😍😍

🔌 Showduino is Going to Sleep... for Now. 🕯️

Showduino started life as a humble two-button Arduino prop — but over time, it grew into a full-blown effects controller with relays, lighting, audio, touchscreen UI, and a whole modular system behind it.

But this wasn’t just for me.
From the start, I designed Showduino to be shared — open-source, accessible, and built for those who can’t afford expensive show control setups. I wanted home haunters, indie creators, and future scare attraction owners to take it, evolve it, and make it their own.

Over the last 3 years, I’ve poured in excess of my own money — not to mention the time, the wiring, the testing, the redesigns, the 2 a.m. code sessions. All of it because I believed in the idea.

But lately, I’ve realized something: I’ve let it take over. I’ve missed out on the stuff that really matters — life outside the build.

So, I’m stepping back.
No new features. No dashboards. No late-night debugging.

💤 Showduino is going to sleep.
Not forever. Not scrapped. Just… paused. Until it feels right again.

I still believe Showduino has a future — maybe even a big one. And when that day comes, I’ll be back, soldering iron in one hand, ideas in the other.

Thank you to everyone who’s followed the journey so far. You’ve made it all worthwhile.

Stay spooky. Stay creative. Take care of you

Thanks guys 🙂
