💛 This summer, the Speak Their Name Memorial Quilts will tour the UK, offering a powerful space for remembrance, reflection, and conversation about su***de bereavement.

Each quilt square has been lovingly created in memory of someone lost to su***de, ensuring their story continues to be seen, shared, and remembered.

From Birmingham and Edinburgh to Glasgow, Southport, Cornwall, Brighton, and London, we hope you'll visit the exhibition and help break the stigma surrounding su***de.

💛 Please note that our Surrey Memorial Quilt is still in the making, so it won't be part of this year's tour. We can't wait to see it join future exhibitions as it continues to grow with the memories and stories of those it honours. At the end of July, the Speak Their Name Memorial Quilts will embark on their Summer 2026 tour, bringing a powerful and moving tribute to lives lost to su***de to communities across the UK.

The touring exhibition provides a space for remembrance and reflection, while helping to raise awareness of the impact of su***de on families, friends, and communities. Created by people bereaved by su***de, each square of the quilts honours an individual life and tells a unique story through fabric, embroidery, photographs, and personal mementoes.

Throughout the Summer 2026 tour, visitors will have the opportunity to view the quilts, learn more about the stories behind the individual squares, and connect with local support organisations and communities affected by su***de loss.

The Surrey region Speak Their Name su***de memorial quilt is getting underway. 🪡

Our first Surrey Speak Their Name meeting will take place at 7pm on 21st April 2026, both at our office and online.

You are warmly invited to join us in creating the Surrey patchwork quilt together in an open, supportive, and non-judgmental space. 💛
This group is open to anyone in Surrey who has been bereaved by su***de.

Chloe is the very first person to contribute to this project, helping us get things started by providing materials that can be used to create quilt squares in memory of loved ones lost to su***de. We are so grateful for your kindness and support! 🙌
