What a National Trust walk looks like on paper ✏️
Basildon Park has this quality I find hard to describe — a stillness that makes you want to slow down and actually look. This is my attempt to capture it.
In this vlog I paint a loose watercolour and colour pencil landscape of the grounds at Basildon Park, National Trust, Berkshire — a winding path, open fields, afternoon light through the trees. No talking. Just the painting, the sound of the process, and some gentle music.

Art practice that I do not share here. 😀
The practice is very freeing cz I use super cheap materials and there is no pressure for the outcome.
The paper is cut from roll from and doodles made using markers.
Such fun! 🤩
Recently I have been practicing towards taking Drawing classes for kids and using doodles for learning lines, shapes and basics of Drawing seems like a good exercise.
This has also helped me with my basics.

Relaxing Slow Art process vlog.
It’s been floral season in my studio as well. I’ve painted daffodils 3 times in 3 different mediums and styles till now.
