Wednesday 9 September between 12 – 2pm

These sessions intend to explore what projects could be grown to target social isolation in the area. The team are looking to connect with people who have experienced social isolation, and / or have seen the impact on family members as well as other creative people across the region.

There is a funding call coming out connected to this work coming in September, so if you are interested in this kind of work, we highly encourage popping in!

Learn Creative Coding. A hands-on, no-experience-necessary workshop! Led by one of the software developers behind Shazam, Charlie Hooper-Williams.

No prior coding experience needed. You’ll create simple, visual and interactive scenes right away, using the same free software Charlie uses for his stunning visuals. Learn how to make things spin, glow, warp and sparkle as you explore the fundamentals of rendering, lighting, textures and more.

Will you help our potter beginners save up for a kiln? Did you know, we teach pottery but we don’t yet have a kiln of our own? We had one on loan to make all this beautiful work, but we now must gratefully give it back. To continue teaching these skills we are going to need one of our community’s own for emerging ceramicists, makers and everyone who wants to try it out. This is your opportunity to join that community if we can raise the funds for a forever kiln at Old Printworks Arts in Radstock. We would be so grateful for your help. A donation of any amount will help us reach this goal! Thank you!

Come here for forging, flag making and play space. 11-3pm FREE at Old Printworks Arts. Last Day Friday 24 July. It’s absolute vibes. We have a couple of Blacksmithing sessions available to book. Or we can take walk ins if you don’t mind making flags with us while you wait, in our shady lounge and play space. All ages welcome Blacksmiths must be aged 8 years or above. See you there!
