📣 2026 Theme Announcement
“Royalty through the Ages”

Since Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, would have been 100 years old this year, and Leeds is celebrating its 400th year as a chartered city, let’s all get regal🫅

Show us your imagination with scarecrows of Kings, Queens, Castles and Carriages through the Ages.

It’s not until Sunday 6th September so there’s plenty of time to plan and build something suitable for the King himself!

Here’s some ideas from other scarecrow displays we got from Google, bear in mind, Royal history wasn’t always pretty ……. what can you create??

Thank You so much to everyone who took the time to create a scarecrow for this year’s festival. We had some really wonderful entries and our judges honestly struggled to pick winners, having seen the scoresheets I can tell you - it really was a tough choice!

Wow Pudsey! The Scarecrow Festival is now in full swing and it's great to see so many of you in the Park enjoying the Scarecrows, music stalls and food 😀 and the standard of entries on our Scarecrow trail is very high this year! Pop into the park, pick up a trail and map and explore the Scarecrows around town. Pop down, check it out (and it's free, though donations are really appreciated) 😀🧡🌼
