Can I ask you all for a bit of honest feedback? 🎨
I've been thinking a lot lately about Simon Nisbet Art and where I want to take it.
I've put an incredible amount of time, effort and money into building my business, developing my style and creating artwork that celebrates Preston, its buildings, businesses and people. I've been fortunate enough to receive some fantastic feedback, gain recognition locally and have my work stocked at the Harris Museum gift shop.
But if I'm being completely honest, the sales and commissions aren't reflecting the amount of work going into this. My reach on social media has dropped, online sales have been disappointing, and I'm trying to understand what I'm missing.
So I'd genuinely love to know what YOU think when you see my brand and my artwork.
Do you immediately recognise what I do? Is my work appealing? Are there particular things you'd like to see more of? Are my products and prices what you'd expect? Is there something that would make you more likely to buy from me, whether that's a print, a commission or one of my smaller products?
Perhaps there's something I'm not seeing because I'm too close to my own business.
I'm not looking for compliments for the sake of it. I'd genuinely appreciate honest, constructive feedback, even if it's something I might not have considered before.
I love what I do, and I want to make a real success of it. Sometimes an outside perspective is exactly what's needed.
