We haven’t posted for a while but what better reason to return than to wish a very Happy Birthday to our talented and hilarious Baritone, Leanne! Her facial expressions and photo poses are world renowned and we love her dearly. Looking forward to Shenanigans fun times in the car to Sheffield tonight 😘

Thank you so much, Cheshire Chord Company for inviting us to sing at your show. We loved every minute!

It was ace to hear CCC's wide repertoire and sit in awe at the talent on the risers. The Harmonicx mixed chorus were fabulous, and that show package at the end of the set was brill!

We all came home buzzing, especially Emma with her raffle prize. Score!

Does this barbershop lark with your mates ever stop being awesome?

Every member of Shenanigans was absolutely buzzing to be taking to the stage with our mixed chorus, Crucible Vocal Project, for the first time this weekend, at BABS - British Association of Barbershop Singers 50th Birthday Convention.

Thanks to an incredible group of singers, a tireless management team and an exceedingly talented music team, we not only had the time of our lives on stage, but with a score of 82.6%, we took home the Champions trophy! 1st place gold medals and a weekend of epic memories with incredible friends from around the country and the globe - it's been brilliant to all share this experience together.

We never thought joining Steel City Voices virtually, 'just' over lockdown would lead to such wonderful experiences - but we're glad it did! Massive thanks to Sheffield Harmony and Hallmark of Harmony for collaborating to create something stunning.

Despite hailing from Preston, Leyland, and Manchester, we are definitely honoury members of a special city: "Go Sheffield!"

A huge congratulations to everyone who put their passion on the stage this weekend, and well done to all the medal and award winners - we continue to be in awe of all the exceedingly talented and lovely people who elevate our hobby to new heights.

We were incredibly proud to be able to perform at LABBS - the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers Semi Finals last month. We had an absolute blast on stage, performing two new songs that we absolutely love.

It was wonderful to enjoy the mixed quartets as part of the Friday competition too, and massive congratulations must go to Hot Ticket Quartet and the Queens of Barberlicious Quartet for their gold medals.

The whole weekend was gorgeous, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and performing with our chorus Steel City Voices who were awarded five trophies and second place overall. Head over to the chorus page to see our spot on local, and then BBC Breakfast news.
