PaintTech Training Academy are a training provider aimed specifically at decorators and tradespeople. We brought together decorators with many years of experience, knowledge and skills, and created courses for people who wanted to learn new skills. We teach you how to apply those skills and te
chniques that you learn with us within your own businesses, to enable you to work smarter and earn more money! We are an independent training provider which means we are not trying to sell you a particular brand of paint or a particular brand of equipment, we do regular testing of new products and we share the findings with our students so you always get good honest, independent professional advice from us, we show you the best products for the job and teach you the skills to enhance your business. All our trainers are self-employed decorators who run their own successful decorating businesses, they are also fully qualified decorators, teachers and construction professionals. We currently have 3 training centres across the UK and Ireland and the locations are:

March, Cambridgeshire (Hub with limited courses)
We are an approved training provider for CITB, as well as being both City & Guilds and IOSH approved centres. This means that our courses are recognised as being good quality training. Most of our courses can be fully funded using the CITB skills and training fund which means you can train with us and it won’t cost you a penny. There is also the added advantage of having the City & Guilds and IOSH options to demonstrate your professional development for prospective clients/employers. Spraying is very much the modern approach to decorating and whilst we run a variety of spraying courses including, airless, HVLP, conventional, air assisted airless, and even airless spray plaster, we also offer a range of paperhanging courses, estimating, venetian plaster, worktop refurbishment, spray granite, marketing, business skills and much more. We also have a number of online courses for if you cannot get to us in person and the online Health & Safety courses are free of charge. Once you have completed training with us we also continue to support you. We have a support group which is available for you to join free of charge so you can ask for help and advice whenever you need it. All the trainers and previous students are in the group and you typically get a response within minutes – which can be very handy if you’re having problems on a job. We are always enhancing our course offer dependent on what skills the industry needs so watch this space for more new courses in 2025.
