At just 17, Georgie is one of the most dedicated, professional and genuinly passionate students I’ve ever had the pleasure of teaching.
She’s already making her mark on stage performing with Youth Theatre, and training at Liverpool Theatre School. Her hard work and consistency has paid off, as she’s come on leaps and bounds since we began working together in 2023. So proud of her progress and achievements!

5 things your singing teacher might be thinking but is be being polite 😌🎤

1. “Your voice sounds like your lifestyle”

Sleep, stress, diet, hydration. It all affects your sound. Don’t complain about your voice not working for you if you aren’t being disciplined with your overall health- your voice is part of your body! Treat yourself like an athlete!

2. “If you only practise when you feel motivated, you won’t get the results you’re looking for”

Growth comes from consistency! Practicing regularly even when you’re at 50% is better than waiting for the few days you feel 100%.

3. “Belting louder isn’t power”

It’s just poor technique with confidence..
Control > volume

4. “If you keep skipping the basics, don’t expect advanced results.”

Foundations build EVERYTHING. You don’t learn to do a backflip by only doing backflips.. you’ve got to work your way up to it.

5. “If your face is frozen, your sound probably is too”

Expression isn’t just emotional, it’s functional. Use your emotion motor system to subconsciously trigger the techniques you want to achieve- it’s like a cheat code!
