🔥Because you bought all the Steel Over The Solent 2027 Preshow tickets in just 48 hours, the venue has now been UPGRADED!

💥Extra ticket allocation will go on sale FRIDAY 04.09.26 AT MIDDAY UK TIME.

✨If you already have a ticket for the preshow, this is still valid, you don't need to do anything.

🙏The new venue is KOLA, 1 GRANADA ROAD, PORTSMOUTH, PO4 0RD

🗡️The venue upgrade also means ID for the preshow is NO LONGER mandatory, if that was a reason that prevented you buying a ticket previously. Age restrictions are 14+, and 14-17 year olds need to be accompanied by an adult. We still recommend ID if you plan on buying alcoholic drinks at the bar.

🍻Please note preshow tickets are SEPARATE to the main day tickets, you will need one for the preshow and the main day.

💖Four unbelievable acts will be playing the 2027 preshow on April 30th, as well as an after party with top notch heavy metal DJs for preshow tickets holders!

🚨 Remember not to get scammed by the inevitable bots in the comments reselling, we'll figure out the best way for resale tickets to be handled, I didn't expect to have to deal with it so soon.

⚔️Steel Over the Solent 2027 Preshow tickets will go on sale Friday 31.07.26 at 12pm midday, UK time!

⚔️Preshow tickets will be £20 and are SEPARATE to the main show tickets, you need a ticket for each day!

⚔️The preshow venue is 18+ only and ID will be MANDATORY, anyone without ID will be turned away. The main show venue is 14+

⚔️The preshow venue capacity is much smaller than the main day, so we're expecting these tickets to shift fairly quickly so don't hang about too long.

⚔️Preshow doors will be around 6pm, subject to change. There WILL be an after party with some top notch heavy metal DJs playing all the best heavy metal.

🔥PRESHOW BANDS ADDED! Announcements coming thick and fast for you all this year! We've got four unbelievable acts for the 2027 edition preshow!

🏠Bleak House, formed in 1972 are a cult nwobhm band from 1972 with some heavily acclaimed EPs in Rainbow Warrior and Lions In Winter! Reformed for Keep It True and performing in 2024, Bleak House are back on the scene performing the classics!

🗡️Templar ride over from Sweden, might be fresh to the scene but they're already taking Europe by storm, with phenomenal performances at festivals like Muskelrock, Keep It True, Hell Over Hammaburg! Their debut album Conquering Swords came out this year to roaring fanfare, expect some incredible heavy metal in vein of Heavy Load, Gotham City, etc.

🐍Rattlesnakes were only formed in 2024 but they're an absolute heavy metal powerhouse and have been taking the UK by storm! Their debut album comes out later this year and they'll be setting off on a headline tour to support it, keep an eye on this band as they're set to go far!

🏰One of the newest bands inspired by the bridge of 70s heavy rock and early-80s heavy metal, SNAKE TOWER will be playing their first live gig ever! Starting out originally as a small solo project from ex-Speeder member Dez, their melodic dual guitars, blazing keys and fantasy lyrics are a love letter to everything we love about heavy rock!

✨The preshow venue is The Deco, 128 Elm Grove, Portsmouth, PO5 1LR. THE PRESHOW WILL BE 18+ ONLY AND ID WILL BE REQUIRED.

✨The main show venue is The Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth, PO4 0JW

🔥More bands added for the main day of STEEL OVER THE SOLENT, May 1st 2027!

🗡️High flying, power rock quintet THE RIVEN were one of the first bands I ever booked as a promoter, and people have just not stopped asking me to bring them back, so we're absolutely delighted to have them join us for Steel Over The Solent next year!

🗡️Hailing from Sweden, the band uses lyrical themes from everyday life to fantasy inspired, with a late 70s/early 80s hard rock sound. They've just released their third studio album, "Visions of Tomorrow" via Dying Victims Records, and have been blowing away audiences and festivals across the globe.

✨We're also adding the a fan favourite with their incredible dual lead guitar attack, SEVEN SISTERS! Born in the depths of West London, Seven Sisters are a band that encapsulates melodic, twin guitar driven heavy metal.

✨Taking the essence of the 80s, infusing it with progressive song structures and an effortless command of dynamics, their take on metal is both familiar and unequivocally their own.
