Hello lovely people! I've got a last minute space for a portrait end of this month/start of Aug due to a cancellation! Any animal(s), any size - happy to accept humans/riders if not the focus of the piece.

Please excuse the radio silence on socials - between 5am starts for Flynn's rehab and working silly hours to pay for it, social media is always the first plate that stops spinning but I am very much still here! 😁✍

"Challenge Me Tuesdays" are off to a flying start!

First up is a gorgeous graphite equine nose measuring 17x22cm. As you can see, I have a twin sheet cut and ready to go 👀✍

For anyone who is interested in the art nerd side of things (🤣) I'm using a really lovely thick surface - Strathmore Bristol vellum 300 series. Cretacolor graphite powder and Faber Castell pitt graphite pencils give detail and depth without the shine. There's also three erasers on the go - a Faber Castell kneadable, Derwent motorised and Tombow mono 2.3. A Sofft tool and a couple of fluffy paintbrushes complete the arsenal.

✨ CHALLENGE ME TUESDAYS ✨

Following on from Flynn's whopping vet bill I've had an idea for a fundraiser. Emphasis on the FUN. I’m excited about this one 👀

Welcome to:
✨ CHALLENGE ME TUESDAYS ✨

Here’s the premise:

1. Comment a photo + a budget + preffered medium (graphite, coloured pencil digital cartoon). It DOESN'T HAVE to be a horse or a dog!
2. If it’s possible, I’ll give it a go 😂

Dog? Horse? Lizard? Tractor? Your nan’s favourite flower? Challenge accepted.

BUT.

If you give me a tenner, you are getting a tenner's worth of effort... Manage your expectations accordingly 🤣

Some could be funny.
Some may accidentally become masterpieces.

I’m hoping to start doing some of these live as well because apparently public pressure and mild panic is good for my productivity. On Tuesdays. Hence the name!

Small caveat - if you want me to send it to you you'll need to cover that or it defeats the point of a fundraiser 🤔

This is the start of the biggest, most important piece of my career so far. And yes... that is a HUMAN. Something I said I'd never draw but I am SO glad I have! Impossible to scan and do justice to - but here's a flavour of the start of this piece.
