Throwing it back to Sunday Portsmouth Comic Con and once again teaming up with the Dream Team Portsmouth besties to host Cosplay corner, chat with Portsmouth’s Express FM and present the under 16s parade!

I was a whimsical magical mushroom- just because- and it was lovely to meet a fellow magical mushroom and catch up with old friends!

I wasn't sure what the reaction to a made up costume would be rather than emulating a famous character but the responses were lovely and people enjoyed the whimsy!!

I've been useless at sharing what I've been up to lately so incoming...a few posts about where I've been!

Starting with a recap of my own Summerween Portsmouth Comic Con Saturday I was Sally with Paul MacDowell as Jack and once again hosting the Under 16s Parades and Cosplay Zone with Dream Team Portsmouth

The day was so much fun despite the rain and my wig has still not recovered!! Any tips of getting the knots out please send them my way!!

We met some amazing Nightmare before Christmas fans and it was an honour to welcome all the incredible little cosplayers up on stage! I'm always blown away by how brave they are to get up in front of that huge crowd and of course the creativity and learning about the characters they love!

I've had the most magical day with my besties

I'm sure a few people were sceptical when I said I was going to con as a mushroom but the responses were so lovely and people were so kind and it was a super fun and whimsical costume to make and wear! 🍄🍄🍄

Amazing what you can do with some of your granny's net curtains and lacey tablecloths!

Day one of 2026!

We have had a fantastic day despite the small but Powerful storm that meant that the over 16 parade had to be cancelled.

It's been fantastic to see so many of you again and to make new friends!

The doodle wall was a hit we are so impressed with your artistic talents!

The Under 16s parade was the busiest it's ever it been and loads of you tried your luck at spinning the wheel to win a Jar of dirt!

Let's do it all again tomorrow!
