Digital collage can mean any form of collage assembled or created using a computer. Cath's process starts off on location where she takes digital photographs of the landscape. Back in the studio Cath uses a computer to blend the landscape photography with sections of additional photographs to add texture, colour and depth. These "textures" can be photographs of painting or mixed media or photograp

hs and scans of surfaces such as rocks, peeling paint, scratched metal, rust, fabric, old paper....all sorts of unusual things. Each finished piece might have between 10 and 20 layers of collage in addition to the original landscape photograph.

Shopify, the platform that our website and shop tills use, is having a major outage just now. Ignore the “This Store Does Not Exist” message. We very much do exist 😀 and will be back soon. Exciting news! You might remember a couple of weeks ago I asked for your help deciding between two shapes of my new inlaid tile hangers made from whisky staves. There were so many responses (thank you 🙏) but opinions seemed pretty evenly split. So, I’m doing both!! Very limited numbers ready now with more to come. You just choose your board shape and select three designs then we will print the tiles and assemble for you. Link in bio.

We’re been working with our friends in Inverness to develop these beautiful whisky stave wall hangers inlayed with your selection of my printed ceramic tiles. So I have these two prototypes mocked up and am stuck deciding between the two shapes. Let me know in the comments - shape A OR shape B?
