🏴☠️ HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL THAT TURNED UP TO THIS YEARS EVENT ❤️
💥 We were blown away by the huge amount of suppor we received for Portland Pirate Day 2026! A few stalls completely sold out of stock! Stallholders reported over 500+ sales on the day to go through their tills and they roughly predicted over 300 people at all times in Easton Gardens during peak times, with a constant flow of visitors from as early as 1015am! We saw many people of all ages flock to Easton Gardens during an absolutely amazing sunny day to enjoy the weather on the grass watching some of the finest local bands and shopping local supporting local crafters and tradespeople. This is what Portland is all about. Pirates supporting pirates ❤️
✨️ A SPECIAL THANKYOU goes to Pirate Pat for setting up Portland Pirate Day several years ago to raise funds for Weldmar, while having fun along the way with Pirate Ray and has continued the tradition since. Chris for the amazing sound throughout the day and for providing the PA and equipment. Adam for generously hiring us a generator to provide the amazing free music to everyone. Easton Methodist Church and Community 2000 for pulling together to provide the event with tables and chairs. The Portland Pirate Mayor for opening the event. Portland Council for allowing pirates to invade these lands. Island Community Action for the gazebo and hi vis gear. Lauren at Luna Lounge for staying open to provide pirate beverages. Jo at Tesco on Portland and everyone at The Cornerhouse for getting behind the event and supporting us. Emma at Air Radio for the continued features and media coverage before and during the event. Andy C for his social reach and influence. All the photographers and social media users that tagged and shared our content or created your own to help spread the word. Every business and charity in not only Easton Square, but in Portland, Weymouth and Dorchester that have got behind us and helped raise awareness in your own unique ways. But most of all to everyone that took the time out to spend the day with us, to all the amazing stall holders, local creatives, artists, crafters and traders that set up their pitch (we got there in the end! Weldmar, Cycling Without Age, Hedgehog Friendly Portland, Sanctuary - Cosy Corner, Island Community Action, Reflexions Therapy, Mad Mitch Ice Creams, The Salad Shack, Pilgrim House & Weymouth Spiritual Community Hub, Tina Hutchins, Tracy Marshall, Twinkle Co, Becky Jarman, Jurassic Coast Competitions, Kelly G Hair, Plate of Hope Su***de Prevention, Paws & Purrs, Leigh Cs 3D Printing and Eva Creative. If I've missed anyone please let us know!), the many pirates young and old that dressed up in full costume, the amazing volunteers that helped us deliver the event to you, to the awesome musicians that performed - Crikey, Julia Krzyzanowska, Smudge & Judy and the Moroi Gypsies! This was a total community effort! Give yourselves a biiig round of applause!

We will also be sharing stallholder and community photos, videos and updates from this years Portland Pirate Day, previous events and future ones shall all be shared on this page throughout 2026 and beyond!
