🚛 Paul’s American Adventure! 🇺🇸✨

Paul’s been tearing up the States, hauling a 32-tonne cotton harvester from Coos Bay to Tacoma in his shiny Kenworth W900. Proper big rig, proper big load… though funny enough, the man behind the wheel insists on calling himself “Dwarf.” 🤭

Maybe it’s overcompensating, maybe it’s irony – either way, nothing small about that truck, or the grin on Paul’s face while driving it! 😏

🚛 Welcome Aboard, Benji! 🎮✨

We’ve got a new face in the cab – everyone say hello to Benji! He usually spends more time on his PS5 than the open road, but he always keeps trucking close to heart. 🚛❤️

He’s already shown his colours – and they’re pure DAF fanboy. 💙 His latest run saw him hauling sawdust panels from Felixstowe to Birmingham – proving that even when the cargo’s a bit dusty, Benji keeps things smooth.

Here’s to many more miles, plenty of DAF pride, and maybe the occasional PS5 break along the way. 🎮🚛

🚛 Mick’s Sweet Return! 🍬😂

After storming off in a proper hissy fit and leaving us for a few days, guess who came crawling back? Yep – Mick’s back in the driver’s seat, and we’ve even treated him to a shiny new truck to calm him down. 🎁🚛

His first “comeback tour” job? A 29-tonne load of sugar beet from Sydney, Montana to The Dalles. Talk about a sweet way to make up for all the drama! 🍭🤣

Looks like Mick realised life’s a bit bland without East Transport VTC – now he’s back to beet-ing the miles away.

🕷️ Mick Swings into Action! 🚛💥

Mick hit the US roads in serious style this week, behind the wheel of his brand new Spider-Man Special Edition Kenworth T680 – and let’s just say, the web-slinger’s never hauled anything this heavy before! 🕸️💪

His mission? Deliver a 32,000 lb crawler tractor from Austin, Texas all the way to Mason City, Iowa. That’s right – from BBQ to cornfields with nothing but horsepower, spider decals, and a questionable playlist of superhero theme tunes. 🎶🦸‍♂️

The truck might be Spider-Man, but that load was more like The Hulk – slow, heavy, and not one for turning corners politely. And while Mick didn’t quite swing between skyscrapers, he did manage to dodge potholes, tailgaters, and at least one suspiciously low bridge. 🕷️🚧

Proof that with great payload comes great responsibility.

🚛 Baz's Cushty Disaster! 🇬🇧➡🇫🇷💥

Baz was buzzing to take his brand new Only Fools and Horses special edition Scania out for a spin – lovely jubbly! 🛻✨
First job? London to Paris with a load of dynamite. What could possibly go wrong?

Well… every southern port was shut. Dover, Portsmouth, even Folkestone! So our Del Boy on wheels had to detour all the way to Hull – because nothing screams “continental efficiency” like driving north to go south. 🧭🤦‍♂️
But the cherry on the dodgy gâteau? Paris cancelled last minute! Baz got rerouted all the way to Nice – from the Eiffel Tower to the Riviera in one chaotic blast. 💣

And speaking of blasts... hauling dynamite gave Baz serious flashbacks to that Only Fools episode with the blow-up dolls. Let’s just say he was praying the cargo didn’t “pop up” at the wrong moment! 😂🎈💥

Still, he got the job done – with a bit of Peckham charm and a whole lot of luck. Next time, maybe just stick to bottled water, Baz...

📞 The call finally came in...
Sparky got the long-awaited update from Los Angeles 9 — Kenworth had just received the truck he sourced all the way from Colorado. Without missing a beat, he jumped on the first flight out of Austin to check it out in person. ✈️🚛

There’s still some work to be done, but Sparky’s got the vision. Once it’s finished, this rig is set to be a real showstopper. 🔧🔥

Mick took a load of Corsair PC parts from Barstow, CA to Ketchum, ID for Cosco — and he did it in serious style. His Kenworth W900 looked like it had respawned straight out of Need For Speed: Underground.

💡 RGB lighting? ✔️
🎶 Subwoofers louder than the horn? ✔️
🔥 A spoiler that serves no purpose? Definitely ✔️

We’re not saying it was over the top… but air traffic control did ask him to tone it down.

📦 Mick Goes Stateside! 🇺🇸🚛

This week, Mick decided to swap roundabouts for highways and headed over to the good ol’ US of A! Taking on a long-haul fertilizer run from Austin, Texas all the way up to Oregon. 🌵➡🌲

He thought he’d escape the madness of UK roads… but turns out, American drivers can give ours a run for their money! 🤯 A few bumps and crashes along the way had him questioning if he accidentally joined a demolition derby. 💥

Still, cargo delivered, coffee consumed, and Mick’s still smiling — probably because no one in the States asked him where his kangaroo was. 🦘

📍 Another job ticked off for East Transport VTC — wherever the wheels roll, we’re getting it done! 🌍💪
