This was 50% of the money raised during Christmas 2025 in memory of my wife, Sharon aka Mrs Claus. Sharon had a rare form of cancer and used to meet up with other people with cancer on a Wednesday. Sandville provided a safe, welcoming place for her to relax and chat with her friends. Thank you for what you do Sandville. The rest of the money raised was donated to Y Bwthyn Newydd, the specialist palliative care unit of the Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend.

Allan Evans has raised an amazing £7,550 for Sandville Self Help Foundation!

The cheque was presented by Alan and his family, alongside our client Alan with his wife Michelle, our wonderful volunteers Richard and Paula, and staff members Sandra, Julia, Wendy, and Chris.

This incredible generosity will make a real difference to the people and families who rely on our support services, and we are truly grateful for the kindness shown. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who welcomed Steel Works Santa to your festive events throughout 2025. Your generosity, kindness, and festive spirit have been truly overwhelming and made this difficult year incredibly special.

Thanks to your support, we are proud to share that £15,100 has been raised. This is the most we've ever raised in one year. This amount will be divided equally between Y Bwthyn Newydd and Sandville Self Help Foundation, donated in loving memory of Mrs Claus, my wife Sharon Evans.

Supporting these two causes in her memory makes this achievement even more meaningful.

Every smile, donation, and kind word helped turn festive cheer into real and lasting support for others. It has been an honour to be part of so many events and to see people come together with such warmth and compassion.

Thank you once again for making 2025 a year to remember.

Children and families at Neath Port Talbot Children’s Centre gave a warm welcome to Santa when he stopped by.
