The Lighthouse Poole team dared to leave the spotlight behind last Monday and plunged into Poole's shadowy history with Spectre & Host's Tours of the Unexplained!

As a unique part of their internal 'Wellbeing Activities' this private group traded theatrical performances for the true-life horror of the Old Town and Quay. We guided them down cobbled alleys and along the narrow streets, sharing chilling tales of smugglers, cursed sailors, and ancient dread that haunt this historic port.

Forget a light jog or a quiet retreat—this was a wellness experience centered on heart-pounding history and the undeniable thrill of the unknown! The team faced the unexplained, and they certainly found a new, unforgettable kind of "wellbeing."

👻 It was a cold, dark, WET night... 👻

The spirits have a wicked sense of humour. Tuesday night's "Tour of the Unexplained" was supposed to be clear, but the heavens opened with a deliberate, chilling curtain of drizzle. 🌧️ But as true seekers know, the tour must go on!

Thank you to all the brave souls who joined us. The rain made the shadows deep, the cobblestones slick, and the atmosphere perfectly unsettling.

Consider this a grim reminder: when you chase the unknown, dress for the elements!

A specific reminder for Mr. Spectre: Always bring the umbrella! The unexpected deluge left his poor moustache drooping so forlornly, you'd think a ghost had just told him a sad story. 😂

Our deepest, most chilling thanks to all who dared to venture with "Spectre & Host's Tours of the Unexplained"! We're thrilled (and perhaps a little spooked ourselves) to announce that all remaining tours are officially SOLD OUT!

The response has been otherworldly, and we're so grateful to every one of you who joined us in exploring the veil between worlds. Your courage in the face of the unknown has truly made this season unforgettable.

But fear not, seekers of the strange... the shadows always hold new secrets. Keep your eyes peeled for an ANNOUNCEMENT later THIS WEEK that will ignite the darkest corners of the calendar. Let's just say... winter's chill won't be the only thing giving you goosebumps.

🎴 The shadows lengthen earlier now, don't they? 🎴

We'll mourn the brief, golden hour—that fleeting moment between 6:30 PM and 7PM when the Autumnal sunset just kissed Market Street. But as the clocks retreat this Sunday, so too does the light.

And with that change comes something far more alluring to us... much darker and much, much colder nights. A perfect setting for a tryst with the unexplained. 🕯️
