Not sure if ELLIOT GALVIN will bring ALL of these wires with him to .poole on Thurs 8th Oct, but we know from previous experience that he'll certainly be innovative in whatever he brings/plays!

He'll have two incredible musicians with him too...CORRIE DICK on drums and NIKOS ZIARKAS on guitar, so don't miss this new trio!

THIS in this week's PooleNow newsletter 😍 Can't thank editor Rob Payne enough 🙏

Covers not only our shortlisting for the Parliamentary Jazz Awards in Oct, but also highlights tomorrow's gig by TOM BARFORD QUINTET at Grasshopper Parkstone

That final para: "It does seem a bit odd that a Poole venue can be in the running for a national award and still fly this far under the radar" 💯

Congrats to all the nominees for the 2026 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, including some great musicians who've graced our stages in recent times 🤩

As you can see, we've made the shortlist - woo hoo! (even if we've mistakenly gained a 'The' at the beginning and a gap in the name SoundCellar, ha ha!)

We're of course feeling extremely chuffed at being recognised, so thank you to our lovely audiences for getting us to where we are today. We'd love you to help us continue well into the future too, hopefully along with some new friends 🙏
