Os ydych chi'n angerddol am y celfyddydau mynegiannol ac yn credu yn y potensial i arferion creadigol wella lles, mae'r radd yn y Celfyddydau Creadigol a Therapiwtig yn rhoi'r cyfle i chi ddatblygu eich ymarfer yn y dyfo

dol mewn lleoliadau cymunedol ac addysgol. P'un a oes gennych ddiddordeb mewn celfyddyd gain, dylunio, crefft neu ymgysylltu â'r gymuned greadigol, mae'r cwrs Celfyddydau Creadigol a Therapiwtig yn cwmpasu amrywiaeth eang o ddisgyblaethau creadigol. If you're passionate about expressive arts and believe in the potential for creative practices to improve wellbeing, the Creative and Therapeutic Arts degree provides the opportunity to develop your future practice in community and educational settings. Whether you're interested in fine art, design, craft or creative community engagement, the Creative and Therapeutic Arts course encompasses a wide variety of creative disciplines. You'll be taught by experts at the forefront of the creative and therapeutic arts workforce, who will provide you with an excellent platform to gain experience of working creatively with others. The Creative and Therapeutic Arts degree has three distinct areas of study - art practice, professional practice placement, and theoretical input. You'll be encouraged to make meaningful connections between each core subject to become a creative arts practitioner.

Diolch i bawb a ddaeth i’n Diwrnod Agored BA Celfyddydau Creadigol a Therapiwtig ym Mhrifysgol De Cymru heddiw.

Fel rhan o’r diwrnod, cymerodd ein gwesteion ran mewn gweithgaredd creadigol byr. Gwnaethon nhw ddyluniadau ar gyfer llwyau caru Cymreig gan ddefnyddio rhwbiadau gwead o’n hadeilad fel deunyddiau ‘collage’. Roedd eu llwyau caru wedi’u gwneud o symbolau a oedd yn cynrychioli’r hyn yr hoffent ei gario gyda nhw, a’r hyn yr hoffent ei ddymuno iddyn nhw eu hunain, ar ddechrau eu taith i Addysg Uwch.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Open Day for the BA Creative and Therapeutic Arts course at the University of South Wales today.

As part of the day, our guests engaged in a short, creative activity. They made designs for Welsh love spoons using texture rubbings from our building as collage materials. Their love spoons were made up of symbols which represented what they would like to carry with them, and what they would like to wish themselves, at the start of their journey into Higher Education.
