Women often carry many responsibilities while navigating personal challenges, expectations and pressures. Today is a reminder that your mental health matters too.

At Women’s Mind Health UK, we are committed to raising awareness around women’s mental health, breaking stigma and creating spaces where women feel safe to speak openly about how they feel.

Seeking support is not weakness — it is strength.

Hero Walks Red Carpet at No10 - MP's Emotional Tribute! 🫶👏

Pontypridd's own Carl Fitzpatrick, founder of (CF System CIC), has been hailed as an unsung hero after receiving a special invitation to Number 10 Downing Street for the St David's Day reception.

Nominated by local MP Alex Davies-Jones, Carl was celebrated for his incredible work supporting domestic abuse survivors through confidence-building classes, self-defence training and a safe space for healing.

Alex Davies-Jones shared her pride on social media, calling Carl's contributions to the community "genuinely special" and shining a light on the many quiet heroes in Pontypridd who make a real difference every day.

The event highlights Welsh talent on a national stage, with Carl joining other guests to mark St David's Day at the heart of government.
