Hi all, well it has been a busy time lately and I'm back posting after a lovely holiday. My last two performances have seen me with my friends at North Ferriby for a brand new set, which went down a storm!

On Thursday 19th March I was at Meadowfield Lodge in Bridlington for the first time. We had a fantastic time! Great tunes, great singalongs and sunny enough for the ice creams to be handed around. Here is a clip of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' from Meadowfield Lodge to warm the heart ❤️ Can you hear the audience singing along?

Some more exciting gigs coming up soon, keep your eye out for updates!

❤️

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

It's been a busy few weeks working on some writing but I've also been out and about the county performing for fabulous care home residents.

Here is a clip of Daisy Bell from my last visit William Wilberforce in Pocklington last week. Always a firm favourite and look forward to seeing you all next time!

Keep your eye out for more exciting updates coming soon!

Hi everyone, happy Tuesday! The week is flying already.

After last week saw a brilliant afternoon with the wonderful people of North Ferriby Nursing Home, where resident Peter and I played our meanest inflatable guitar duet yet 🎸tomorrow sees me visit The William Wilberforce Residential care home in Pocklington. I'll be back at North Ferriby in a couple of weeks with a brand new set, but first, I am really looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Keep an eye out for an update!

In the meantime, please enjoy a snippet of my cover of 'Bring me Sunshine' by The Mills Brothers - a joyous way to kick off a set!

I visited Wold Haven in Pocklington for the first time on Thursday and what an afternoon we had! I was made to feel so welcome by everybody and there was a real party atmosphere, where everybody got into the swing; singing, dancing and swaying to the songs - amazing! 😊

A coffee and a chat later, I came away with a whole list of requests for next time, with a Royal themed set for the King’s Birthday! 🇬🇧 👑

The requests will fit the Royal brief, so resident Janet’s ‘Osmond’s’ request will be entitled ‘Love me for a Treason’. I can hear you groaning - but I don’t care 😂

Drop a 👑 in the comments with your favorite royal-themed track!

It was my first visit to Driffield Manor care home yesterday (30/1) and we had so much fun. Thanks to Ann and everybody for making me feel so welcome! I am pleased to say that I will be back in April, and for resident Jane, I won't forget your request for Unchained Melody ❤️

My next performance is at Wold Haven care home in Pocklington on Thursday. Look out for an update soon after 😊

Hi again everybody! Well, what a lovely afternoon spent with the wonderful residents at North Ferriby Nursing Home on Tuesday this week (20th Jan). We had a good old singalong accompanied by some beautiful tambourine playing, as well as epic solo performances on the inflatable guitar!

Thanks for everybody for looking after me and I look forward to seeing you in February 😊

Here's a song from the day - can you count the number of 'I knows' sung in one breath?!

Is it too late to say Happy New Year now?

Well, it certainly wasn’t yesterday at my first gig of the year at the William Wilberforce Residential Care Home. We had a great time! It was lovely to see everyone and thanks to Mariia for looking after me. A special shout out to resident Elizabeth, who had me dancing the first waltz of my life. I have promised to learn how to do it properly for when I am back in February!🕺

Off to North Ferriby Nursing Home next Tuesday to perform for the wonderful people there. Look out for an update next week 😊

Evening all!

Can you believe it's the last day of Christmas?

Whilst the decorations may be coming down, the new year is just beginning. And with a new year comes the perfect time to try something new!

For the last few months, I've been working with No Mistakes Publishing to try and encourage anyone and everyone to give poetry a go through our No-nonsense Poetry Group.

The group is a safe and inclusive space that you can attend either in person at The Living Room in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, or online from anywhere in the world! Come along and meet some likeminded and supportive people and unlock your inner poet. I promise that you definitely have one, why not set it free?!

So, on the twelfth and last day of Christmas, I've brought to you a poem of encouragement to come along and try something new, by joining our group.

The group has had a Christmas break but will be starting back up soon, so be sure to keep an eye on the website for updates! See the link in the comments.

Finally, I would like to say a massive thank you for all your support whilst starting up my page. Though the 12 days of Christmas may be done, there's sure to be more content coming soon.

Keep an eye on the page for updates and please share with friends and anyone looking for a Singer and/or No-nonsense Poet!

Evening all!

If you can believe it, we’ve reached the second-to-last day of the 12 days of Christmas! I’ve had a blast sharing these songs and poems with you all so far.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, I’ve brought to you a throwback to my very first time performing a public gig in early April 2025, at The Laurels Care Home.

This was actually recorded before I started performing professionally. At the time, I was just testing the waters and seeing if my style and love for the classics would resonate with an audience.

Looking back at this now, I can see the nerves, but I can also see the moment I realised this was what I wanted to do for a living. We all have to start somewhere - and I’m glad my "somewhere" was here.

I have since been back, returning in November 2025 to celebrate resident Harry's birthday, which was a great day!

Please enjoy this clip of one of my favourites - a cover of 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Elvis.
