The eagle-eyed amongst you will spot a lone Rock Hopper dancing in with us. Points if you can name her 😁. It was a great spot - thanks Rock Hoppers, great fun and great dances as always.

We’re having a ‘Come and Try It’. Why not come along and have a go at a couple of easy dances and see how you get on.

I’m not sure I know many people who were born wanting to dance the Morris but, oddly enough, once they start, they don’t seem to want to stop. It's such great fun dancing to our Reggae/Calypso music you’ll forget it's Morris. And we smile a lot. 😎

We're really easy going and there's no big stress to get things right so come on down and see what it's all about. If you're not sure after that then just come to the next practice and have another go….if you’re still not sure then just come to the next practice…..you get the idea.

We meet once a month in term time on Sunday’s and this year we’ll be putting in a few Monday night practices in case anyone misses a Sunday. In the Summer we stop practicing and dance out roughly once a month at events like Plymouth Pirates Weekend. So there's not a huge time commitment.

It’s 10:30 - 13:30 on Sunday 5th October at Manadon Hall, 104 Tavistock Rd, Plymouth PL6 5EL. We're on a few bus routes🚌

Musicians - we need you!
Do you play anything at all? Yes? Good, then come and play in our band.

We want to create a street band that plays for our dancing but can also do its own thing in the gaps between sets.

Mayhem Border Morris has its usual folk instruments but to bring its fusion of Folk, Reggae and Calypso together it needs brass, wind and some rhythm…..more than it already has, that is.

Mayhem are an inclusive side so we can find a slot for you whatever your standard or instrument. Just follow the link to our website to find out more
