4.30am. Summer Solstice. Tinside Lido.

An alarm clock I didn't mind setting.

A beautiful sunrise, a sea full of smiling faces, and the chance to welcome the longest day of the year surrounded by fellow sea lovers.

The sea is such a huge part of my life and this morning felt like a celebration of everything I love about it.

Beach Zoomies! ☀️

Made from genuine beach found pottery and sea glass, this happy little dog seemed to reveal itself as I sorted through my finds. A pottery sherd with a worn cup handle became the perfect head and ear, a patterned fragment suggested a furry body, and a piece of sea glass turned into a wagging tail.
