When our heart’s desire is but within reach, when only the magic of prose will bridge the chasm, we turn to the written word to seduce and win the one we desire.

However, my inadequate words barely reach the page when I stop, pull the page, crumple it., discard it and start again ……. and again, over and over.

‘Love’ remains vulnerable, suspended in the air, unrequited, unanswered, unseen ….. Lost to the ether. Just an echo, floating in the air.
