I love doing these because whenever I feel like I haven’t been productive I realise that is literally just my imposter sydrome - 6 pieces of art in 1 week is not too bad!

I can’t remember the last time I painted like this and I have missed it so much! I love painting intuitively but this was a bit stressful as I kept convincing myself I had lost my ability to paint 😬
Anyway I finally got my easel back from my mums so it was lovely to be able to set it up and get back to canvases!
What do you think?

One thing I’ve missed about uni is letting myself create for the sake of it! Happy to be back to experimenting in my sketchbook 💗
I’ve realised I am more drawn to expressive/abstract work than then portraits I usually do - there’s more freedom to not make everything perfect and these pages feel more honest to me 🥰🥰
