Harrow Art Society Harrow Art Society was founded in 1934 to promote interest in the arts in Harrow. It has 70+ members. Reduced rates for students.

Membership is open to artists from all disciplines, and costs £40 pa. See www.harrow-art-society.co.uk for details Should YOU be interested in HAS ? Well.., the Society has a very wide cross section of both commitment and ability. There are professional and semi-pro artists, and some very gifted amateurs,
and then there are people who've only recently become interested in art, and like the idea o

f getting together with like-minded people to see if they can have a go. If you're an accomplished artist already then you will benefit from the solidarity of the longest surviving art society in the area, and be able to exhibit your work in the annual exhibitions and on the society's website. If you are just considering becoming an absolute beginner, then why not venture to one of our lectures or demonstrations, no obligation, just to see what you think. Art is all about an inner journey and exploration of ideas. It doesn't matter which end of the ability spectrum you feel you're at, meeting with other artists will always stimulate your creative flow. Harrow Art Society's Annual Exhibition will be open very shortly and is not to be missed. Over 100 paintings, prints, sculptures, and ceramics will be on show and for sale. Free entry-come and browse.
The art spans over three corridors and the main White Gallery, which is on the left after the entrance doors.
The art by local artists, both amateur and professional is of the highest quality, and varies across all price ranges.
Wheelchair friendly and free entrance.
There is a large car park, but if full, parking is available in the adjacent Morrisons car park, which at this time, has NO time restrictions, regardless of what the notices say!
Refreshments are available in the backstage bar in the Arts Centre
Morrissons cafe is not open at this time.

Our fabulous 2025 Spring Exhibition will soon be on and not to be missed! Over 100 works of art to see- from paintings and sculpures to mini works of art, and prints to buy. Prices across the range-something for everyone- paintings from HUGE to tiny. Easy parking in the Arts Centre car park, but if full, in the adjacent car park in Morrisons. Look forward to seeing you!

Saturday 25th May. Guided tour of the National Gallery with Jonathan Hutchins Jonathan talks on George Seurat in the Post Impressionist Room-then lunch in the NG cafe. More details to follow.

Saturday 8th June. Lowry Room.2.15-4.30pm. Michael Gullon demo/workshop on a seascape in acrylic.

Saturday 22nd June . Lowry Room 2.15. Jaquie Feldman with a ‘ Wax Resist’ workshop. More details to follow.

Saturday 6th July. Lowry Room 2.15-4.30pm.‘ Now you see it-now you don’t.’ Still life painting with a difference! Art materials of your choice-led by Linda Zelin. Lowry

Unbelievably wonderful art on the walls at Harrow Arts Centre. almost 200 objects-d'art - paintings - some ENORMOUS ones, plus tiny little exquisite pieces. Just gone up and opening tomorrow 1st May until 15th. Come and browse. We've NEVER had an exhibition this spectacular. Plus greetings cards/ sculptures/ pottery/ and hand painted bric-a-brac. Problem-free parking. Wheelchair friendly. CLOSED BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 6th MAY-so don't come then. 10-5pm weekdays and 10-4pm Sundays. Closes 15th May.
