If you ever had a terrible date… this is the show for you 😂 The Dating Diary is a heartfelt comedy set in North London, exploring the life of Amelia as she approaches her 30th birthday. Amelia is feeling the weight of societal expectations as she grapples with her lack of "milestones". Having never experienced love or success in relationships & stuck in a career she hates, Amelia turns to her confident & outgoing ‘influencer’ best friend, Laura, (SHANIKA OCEAN ) and her therapist, Elaine for guidance.

Together, they navigate the modern dating landscape, complete with dating apps, social media pressures, and an array of unforgettable characters like Kyle, (TAYLOR POPE) the quintessential misogynist. Along the way, Amelia might even find 'the one', but will they both be able to let their guards down and take a chance?

MEET THE CAST & OUTTA NOWHERE TEAM🎭🎬✨ We introduce one of the company directors of Outta Nowhere Productions Ltd, Alex Bell! 🎉👏 Not only is he taking the reins as the artistic director of the company, but he's also currently directing the hilarious and heartwarming play 'The Dating Diary' by Melissa Jessica Amer & Scott Henderson! 📖💕

From a young age, Alex knew he was destined for the stage. He once performed a riveting rendition of Billy Goats Gruff at the tender age of three, which left his grandma in awe. 🐐🌉 His passion for acting carried him through school, college, and university, where he honed his craft. 🎭📚

After working in various roles within the industry (from advert gigs to role-playing for the police), Alex found his way back to his local drama school. It was there that he discovered his true calling - Coaching & Directing! 🎓🎭

Helping actors on their creative journeys and diving deeper into the art of acting ignited a new fire in him. 🔥🎭 He then pursued a Masters in 'Actor Training and Coaching' at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, where he refined his style.

Alex's approach is all about inclusivity and focusing on the actors themselves. He believes in harnessing each actor's unique skills and personality to help them explore and develop their craft as artists. 🌟🎭

With a toolbox full of techniques, from Clowning to Grotowski, Alex is eager to adapt his practice to suit each individual he works with, ensuring they reach their full potential. 🤹🎭
