❄️💙 Where Winter Takes Root 💙❄️

There’s something magical about winter — when everything above ground seems still, yet beneath the surface, the roots remain strong.

Where Winter Takes Root has been handcrafted from silver wire, sweeping upwards into a wild canopy filled with icy blues, frosted crystal tones, deep ocean shades and tiny touches of turquoise.

Her exposed, hand-twisted roots spread across a shimmering blue resin base, almost as though they’re travelling beneath the surface of a frozen lake, while the curved trunk gives her that windswept winter feel.

No two branches follow quite the same path and no two clusters are identical — a little bit wild, a little bit frozen, and completely one of a kind. 💙

💙 JOSHY BLUE 💙

This one earned his name completely by accident!

While I was making him, my husband said the unusual tall trunk and clusters of branches reminded him of a Joshua tree — a wonderfully strange desert tree with branches that reach upwards and form distinctive tufts at their ends.

So meet Joshy Blue — my own rather colourful interpretation. 🌳💙

Hand-twisted from warm copper wire, his trunk rises and divides into sculptural branches topped with clusters of deep blue faceted beads. His roots have been left proudly on show, spreading across a natural wood slice and curling around the bark edge.

He's definitely not trying to be a realistic Joshua tree… he's what happens when one wanders into Enchanting Roots Studio and gets given a bit too much sparkle. 😂✨

And there's a slightly ridiculous personal coincidence behind the name too — many years ago I injured my back while stopping someone called Joshua from falling out of bed. Apparently Joshuas and I were destined to cross paths again. 😂

Thankfully this one is staying firmly on his base. 💙🌳

🌸🐾 Purrfectly Peaceful 🐾🌸

Sometimes you just need to find your favourite little spot, curl up and let the world carry on without you. 🥹

Purrfectly Peaceful is my latest handmade wire tree, created in soft pink wire with a canopy full of delicate pink, pearl and shimmering beads.

Tiny pearly flowers with contrasting black centres are scattered throughout the branches, giving it just a little bit of drama amongst all that pretty pink. ✨

But hiding beneath the branches is my favourite part…

A sleepy little cat has found the purrfect place to settle amongst the twisting, tangled roots. 🐱💕

I deliberately let the roots wander and curl around the hoop rather than keeping them neat — because nature rarely behaves itself… and apparently neither do my trees. 😂

Every branch, flower and twist of wire has been shaped by hand, making this another completely one-of-a-kind piece from Enchanting Roots Studio.

🌳✨ I HAVE SOME BIG NEWS! ✨🌳

Well the day has finally arrived,

Today was a bit of an emotional one for me…
Enchanting Roots Studio now has a home at Creative Crafters ❤️

Six months ago, I could never have imagined standing in a shop surrounded by so many of the pieces I've made. Today, as I stood looking at the finished display, I nearly cried and said, “That’s six months’ work right there.”

And it really is. Six months of wire, thousands upon thousands of beads, resin, experiments, ideas that worked, ideas that definitely DIDN'T 😂, sore fingers, late-night inspiration and an awful lot of love.

My trees now have their very own beautiful dresser, with Little Roots tucked away ready to come out and play, more stock stored underneath, and there's even an Enchanting Roots piece in the shop window. 🥹🌳

Seeing everything together today made me realise just how much Enchanting Roots has grown.

A huge thank you to Creative Crafters for giving my slightly bonkers little forest a home, and thank you to every single person who has followed, liked, shared, encouraged me or bought one of my creations along the way. ❤️

👀🌳 Something is happening behind the scenes...

Today I'm starting to pack up quite a few of my creations ready for a little adventure tomorrow. 📦✨

It feels VERY strange seeing them all getting ready to leave Enchanting Roots HQ! 😳😂

I can't quite tell you everything yet... but all will be revealed very soon. 🤫🌳

While I'm packing, I also wanted to remind you that if you fall in love with one of my pieces but think “I'd love that in different colours” — just ask me. ❤️

Every piece I make is individually handmade, so no two will ever be completely identical, but I can recreate something similar in colours chosen especially for you.

I've already had someone eyeing up Rooted Together in autumn colours 🍂🧡🤎... and now I'm rather tempted to make one myself! 😂

Our families are made up of different branches, different stories and different memories… but underneath it all, we're rooted together. ❤️

This 16-inch handcrafted family photo tree has been created using an incredible 534ft of golden wire, individually twisted and shaped into sweeping roots, a strong flowing trunk and a canopy filled with beautiful shades of green.

Nestled amongst the branches are tiny wooden pegs, ready for you to add the people who make your family yours. 📸

Whether that's children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, treasured friends or four-legged family members — the photographs can be changed whenever another favourite memory comes along.

The little photo cards shown are simply placeholders to demonstrate how the tree can be used — you add your own photographs and make the final piece completely personal to you.

Small in size, but definitely not short on personality. ❤️

Little Roots is my brand-new collection of individually handmade miniature wire trees. Each one has its own colours, shape, character and little quirks — no two will ever be exactly the same.

From wild and colourful to soft and delicate, every Little Root has been made by hand here at Enchanting Roots Studio. 🌳✨

These little ones have been taking over my worktable (and quite a few drawers 😂), and I'm so excited to finally let them out into the world.
