Tickets for the Umbrellas & Stools community theatre workshops in Aug, Sept and Oct go on pre-order for our Rope & Flame cast tomorrow 19 June at 10am via Ticket Tailor. Please check your email for links. Rope & Flame company members will receive priority booking til July 1 after which time workshop tickets will go on general release.

Great community band for right person !!

Closing circle complete ✔️ and end of the Rope & Flame project. We started in winter and ended on Tweed Green on a sunny day. Thank you to the whole company, to audiences and programmers Eastgate Theatre and Duns Play Fest and to Destination Tweed UK The National Lottery Heritage Fund Scotland and Inspiring Life.

FIVE months of rehearsals and learning came to an exciting conclusion as a community theatre show put on its first screenings.

Today at midday, cast members and friends and family of the cast sent the Mandala flowers down into the River Tweed to remember the 27, where their remains were thought to have been placed. It was a fitting end to the project - thanks to Chris Blagdon for arranging it. This community theatre project has linked a diverse group of people and explored place, historic events and trauma, heritage, culture and the River Tweed and was thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund Scotland and Destination Tweed UK

And it's goodbye 👋- end of a long road & a fantastic Inspiring Life Festival. Congratulations to the Rope & Flame Company for 5 months hard work ! We've laughed, cried, and celebrated today.
